Non Profits put on events to help people but their story needs to reach beyond the moment to their broader community, volunteers and support fundraising. These intimate experiences need to be treated with a degree of reverence but also need to give agency to the constituents being served. I am very pleased to have collaborated with some amazing, dedicated groups of people doing great work.

Client- Women's March Sacramento

I am the official head of digital media for the Women's March Sacramento 2018. The first assignment was to shoot a teaser video to help with awareness, fundraising and volunteer outreach. While video is not my jam at all, this was a cause that inspired me to give it a try. I edited the script, recruited the talent, shot the entire piece in 2 days and helped with the editing. Talk about rolling up one's sleeves for the cause... A collection of stills will be added leading up to and immediately after the march on January 20th, 2018.

O4U Tech- 3 day summit hosted by Twitter, bringing together the top LGBTQ+ students from all over the country to participate in workshops, mentoring, networking and a career fair.

Women’s March Sacramento, Women’s March Oakland, and Tech Stands Up joined forces to tackle pressing issues. Their event Hacktivists Unite was hosted by General Assembly at the historic US Mint in San Francisco where participants included The ERA and the CTO of Salesforce.com.
